Dusk at the Track

CONFESSIONS BEHIND THE CRAFT:

Dusk approaches as another day behind the screen moves past. A night in solitude where our thoughts come together as congruently we've hoped they would. A place where thinking free comes easy and smiles are abundant.

It's been 4 years since the last photos we took here. An inconceivable amount has changed between then and now .. some for the better and maybe some for the worst. The constant, however, remains the same - passion between 2 wheels. In retrospect, that seems harder to fade than any.

LOOK PAST FACE VALUE.

The outside looking in, motocross is one of those sports plagued by injuries and a bad-boy mentality. It's not a sport for the faint of heart, or mind. If you want to play this game you have to be willing to put it on the line. It's gnarly.

Everything about it including the prep and cleanup; it isn't easy which of course is some of its appeal. For the viewer with new eyes we encourage you to go further, look past the speed, past the scars, and past the dirt. There you'll see a community from different places and different upbringings solely bound together by machine.

A community only as unique as the individuals who've created it and the generations before who've defined it - rich in history and spanning both sides of the globe.

GOING BEYOND SPEED.

Beyond the speed and air time there’s this raw, artistic, and emotional element to what we do. To us, these are the real reasons we explore this craft.

Yes, it is a relationship between man and machine and it unlocks so much more. It's therapy, both mental and physical, ultimately allowing us to push towards our truth becoming more in-tune with who we are than the minutes before.

IT'S REALLY QUITE SIMPLE.

It's easy to fall victim to a life by motives of not your own ultimately fueling a life of someone else's. Our world today is much different than those before us.

Instead of physical challenges of survival it's become mental challenges of survival. We struggle in silence, in front of the people we hold closest.

It's all really quite simple, and somehow we continue to forget that even in our darkest hours. Eat well, eat balanced, exercise-often, get enough sleep, spend-time with the people or person you hold closest, and never forget about your passions. Yes, your passions will change over-time but they're inherently linked together like a trail of bread crumbs to who you really are - your truth and your purpose.

Don't ignore them, they define you.

THOUGHTS BEYOND THE TRACK.

Dusk, the moment between day and night. A transition between worlds and a moment where self-reflection has occurred for millennial.

Tomorrow will come easier because you spent the time today to reflect.

REMEMBER. PAIN IS POWER. SO KEEP PUSHIN'.
